Amaechi set another agenda to sack Wike

The Minister Minster for Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, on Saturday instructed members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his supporters on what to do to ensure Governor Nyesom Wike’s government is sacked.

He told them to go to their various units and wards and commence new registration of members with voters’ cards, saying that it was the tool they will use to remove “bad leaders”.

Amaechi, a former governor of the state told his party men and supporters that they should not hope to see any change or benefits from Rivers except the APC wrest power from the ruling party in the stat, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He stated this during a ward-to-ward sensitisation visit tagged ‘Operation show your PVC’, to communities in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state.

“You people need to work hard because, if we don’t win, you will not get any benefit. The day we win, is the day we should expect change in Rivers State.

“When we win, we will focus more on bettering the lots of our people because I believe that things should change.

“The only way to effect that change is to go to your various units and wards and commence new registration of members and I expect the new members to have their voters’ cards; that is the tool you will use to remove bad leaders,” Amaechi said.
