Nigeria Decides: Police uncovers Bomb in Delta

The Delta State Police Command has uncovered substance suspected to be improvised explosive device along the Ughelli/Patani road in Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.

This was revealed by the Commissioner of Police Adeyinka Adeleke on Friday ahead of the presidential and National Assembly elections.

According to Adeleke, the bomb was discovered by men of the Anti Robbery Squad led by its Commander, Masoyi Dadi on Thursday night.

The statement added that the IED was intercepted in an unregistered white Toyota Hilux Van which refused to stop.

He, however, assuaged the fears of Deltans saying there is no cause for alarm as an investigation had been launched into the matter.
